It's been 5, 6 or more weeks for some, since we have all been confined to our homes. It is probably about two weeks ago that we ran out of ideas to keep ourselves occupied. I have spent the last few weeks tackling anything with a door in front of it. Cleaning out, organizing, moving and purging.
Most of us usually only have weekends and evenings at home and don't really notice that our space is in need of repair or change. This quarantined existence has brought to light things we've lived with that didn't seem to bother us until now. Although I teach people how to organize to make their homes more effective or enjoyable I don't always have the time to do so. I now have almost run out of things to organize or move. My husband sleeps with one eye open these days.
Sit down, as if you weren't already, and look at your rooms with a critical eye. Add or remove accessories and small pieces of furniture. Rearrange your furniture. These little things can really lift your spirits and help for, at least another week, give you a change.
